This 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL is best described as a contemporary classic. The Mercedes-Benz 450 SL was produced from 1973 through 1980. 1980 was the last year for the 450SL. Production started in February and ended in October. This 450 is one of only 5,583 450SL’s produced in 1980. Its timeless body design is still regarded as a graceful and elegant shape. Featuring the 4.5-litre V-8 engine offering a top speed of 135 mph, and presents a harmonious courtship of understated prestige with sporty flamboyance, its 4-wheel independent suspension delivers excellent cornering capability while maintaining a supple ride quality.
