Finished in Electron Blue Metallic, the rarest color of the five offered on the 2003 Z06, over a Black leather interior, this Corvette is powered by the 5.7L LS6 V8, producing an impressive 405 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Putting all that power to the pavement is the factory M12 6-speed manual transmission, giving the driver complete control and making the most of the LS6's performance. The Z06's performance extends well beyond the engine. It features the factory FE4 performance suspension, including revised spring and shock rates, larger stabilizer bars, and performance-oriented chassis tuning. The drivetrain is equipped with a 3.42 rear axle and limited-slip differential, Active Handling, four-wheel ABS, and the Z06-specific braking system help put the car's performance to the ground and keep it under control. The LS6 itself featured an aluminum block and heads, sequential fuel injection, and numerous internal and valvetrain changes over the standard LS1 to support its increased output. Completing the performance package is the signature Z06 titanium exhaust system, which helped reduce weight while giving this Z06 its distinctive exhaust note. Also rides on the Z06-specific staggered aluminum wheels, measuring 17 inches up front and 18 inches in the rear, wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires.
