1970 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

1970 Corvette 350ci/350hp & 3 speed automatic transmission. A shiny Red finish with nice chrome all throughout and red vinyl interior. New convertible soft top and comes with it's original vinyl covered hard top. Equipped with Power steering, Power disc brakes and power windows. Vacuum for the headlight and wiper door works amazing! Back up lights not working. Numbers stamped below passenger side head appear to match with VIN number. New bushings installed, underside detailed as well as engine compartment. The 1970 Chevrolet Corvette underwent a moderate re-design from the previous model. Changes included were replacing the 4 side gills with an egg-crate vents and the fenders were flared slightly to keep rocks from being kicked up and scratching the paint. The seats were redesigned again, this time to create more headroom. The 350 engine was much lighter than the 454, also offered, and provided almost as much power as the lower end "Big Blocks". The relatively low production in 1970 was caused by a labor dispute that started in May of 1969. This dispute caused the 1969 production run to be stretched 4 months and the 1970 run to be cut short. This example has Rally wheels and RWL tires, still in nice condition. Wearing newer paint new vinyl soft top and still with it's original interior, this beautiful Vette will impress and look great as a rare addition to anyone’s Muscle Car collection!
