1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

1969 Camaro Z28 4spd. Totally FRAME OFF Rotisserie Restored. All Factory markings, True X33 Trim Group (Z28) w/D80 Designation (signifies car was equipped with D80 front & back spoilers) Built the fifth week in September 1969 at the Norwood OH. Assembly Plant. Painted Daytona Yellow with Black Vinyl Interior. Uniquely, factory equipped with a front color matched bumper (also known as an Astro bumper option, similar to the Endura Bumper on a GTO) Original color was Fathom Green w/midnight green interior. Beautifully ground-up restored three years ago. Powered by the correct 302/290hp engine, CE block (casting # GM 3970014) replaced under factory warranty. (Per camaros.org) A casting number could be used in multiple engine applications, including different engine displacements. The displacement could be changed by using different crankshaft strokes. There are many examples of this the 1969 302, 327, and 350 motors all used the same blocks with a 4" bore, just with three different crankshafts. Though sometimes multiple block castings were in production at the same time. #’s matching (19N694036) Muncie M-21 Transmission (casting number 3925660) The engine appears to have a correct numbered Holley carb. (3923289-DZ LIST- 4053) Both head numbers also coincide with the sequence of numbered heads used for this year and model Camaro (3297186). Also equipped with the correct Axle, numbered: BU (12 Bolt 3.73 gear Posi Trac.) 0924G2 (Sept. 24. Detroit Gear & Axle Plant) E (Eaton Posi) Standard bucket seat interior, tach and axillary gauges mounted under dash. Additional options include: tinted glass, front and rear spoiler, 15-inch Rallye wheels with BF Goodrich tires, steel cowl induction hood, power steering, power front disc brakes, rosewood looking steering wheel, drivers side outside mirror, radio delete, rear bumper guards and correct spare with jack. This is an outstanding example of one of the most Iconic muscle cars ever produced. All research above was done using online websites, we encourage our customers to do their own research.
