1967 Pontiac Firebird

1967 Firebird Convertible. We purchased this car to RestoMod it but we've gotten so behind we just dont have the time. This is a nice straight car but not perfect. Some of the things that need attention are: Some chrome and stainless need replaced, the convertible top vinyl is missing the frame is there but it will also need new weather strip as will the rest of the car. The interior is quite good and might only need a few thing to be real good, such as the foam could stand to be replaced especially in the drivers seat, the door panels are ok but if not replacing at least the lower carpet will need replaced and the passenger side door handle cup is missing. The paint is shinny but its not perfect to be perfect it would need to be reshot or at least totally sand off the clear and re-clear coat applied. Reason is it looks like when it was painted the clear was sprayed on the car with air bubbles so when it when on the car the clear finish looks that way. Also the engine runs good and doesn't really smoke but has low compression. Some of the restore has already been done before we got it, that includes: New gas tank, new fuel sending unit, new spark plugs and wires, New shocks front and back, power steering, power brakes, rebuilt drum brakes in the back, new custom frame extensions. Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, radio, AM/FM cassette and wipers all work. Heater Does not work. New turn signal housing's in front, new wheels and tires on all four corners, Tire size 235/45/ZR17. The engine appears to be a 400 YX we have no information for the car or the engine. The body is straight and the doors close really nice. This is the perfect car for someone who wants a mild project but doesn't want to do everything.
